Certification Process

Veteran/Active Duty/Guard/Reserve:

• BE ACCEPTED TO UMHB - ALL TRANSCRIPTS RECEIVED
• Request to Use Benefits Form
• DD-214- unless you are still active duty
• Military Transcripts Received
• VA Educational benefit application submitted online
• Current Copy Of Certificate Of Eligibility (COE) or 28-1905
• Unofficial degree plan
• Schedule

Family Member Requirements:

• BE ACCEPTED TO UMHB - ALL TRANSCRIPTS RECEIVED
• Request to Use Benefits Form
• VA Educational benefit application submitted online
• Current Copy Of Certificate Of Eligibility (COE)
• Unofficial degree plan
• Schedule
