UMHB alumna and women's golf coach, Darla Kirby '78, was named West Region Coach of the Year and National Coach of the Year in her final season as the Crusader women's golf coach.
Kelly Gonyea, a junior from Harker Heights, was named to the All-West Region team and also earned Honorable Mention All-American. Taylor O'Rear, a sophomore from Salado, was named to the All-West Region team and also earned Second Team All-American.
The Crusader women's golf team is currently tied for first in the NCAA Tournament.
