Dwayne Frei MA ’00

Dwayne Frei MA ’00 was named Education Service Center Region 12 Counselor of the Year for 2015. The award recognizes a school counselor whose efforts to make a difference in children's lives make him or her stand out from his peers. Frei is a Licensed Professional Counselor and LPC Supervisor. He has served students at all four of Troy ISD's campuses for the past three years of his eighteen year career in counseling, as the district's Crisis Intervention Counselor. He was selected for the award out of 46 school districts and over 600 counselors that serve students in Region 12.
